I really had a hard time deciding which category to put this in.
So, if I'm wrong, then hopefully good old ^devart will kindly do the job and send me a subsequent note. Anyway, this is based off of the song, "The Rose", performed by Bett Midler. I know this song has been made fun of. Especially in the modern cult Napoleon Dynamite. But whatever. I still love this song. The lyrics conjure very distinct images in my head. Over many years, I've probably drafted this out on paper three times, by now. So I thought... why not make a polished version? So here it is :] Typography and lineart in Illustrator CS. Painting in Photoshop CS2. Took about a week, on and off. I love drawing. Sorry for the gigantic filesize. Thanks for looking, and I hope you enjoy.
