Honestly, there are so many more and it's really difficult to choose.
But these are from my sketchbook, which I've just finished.
All are film characters, all drawn from memory, hence minor inaccuracies here and there.
I used some of my favourite quotes rather than state the characters' names blatantly, and some of the quotes have no relation to the scene depicted. It would be interesting to know whether these characters are truly recognisable as their individual roles.
Mainly done in 0.3mm gel type pens. I'm not good with pencil.
Very good. You have a sharp memory and an artistic eye, cool. I like Marlon Brando particularly.
I'm curious concerning your decision to use a symmetrical layout as opposed to an asymmetrical... and imagine you went 3/c with the anticipation of prints down the road.
:) I was surprised with Brando, actually. Turned out better than I expected.
I wanted to keep things simple, I suppose, hence the symmetrical layout. I didn't want anything too distracting that would take attention away from the drawings. I mean, they're already kind of plain, being mainly black and white. So yeah :)
I don't understand your question regarding 3C and printing, though :) They'd be using CMYK to mix out the colours anyway :)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
