how it was_
0 1 . B A C K S T O R Y _ When I was a kid, my parents took me to Japan almost every year. It's been 15 years since I last truly visited the country. During this time, all I've had was layovers at Narita airport. And that, of course, didn't count for very much. Anyway, despite the times I've visited Japan, I don't seem to remember anything much. "Don't you remember climbing Mount Fuji?" my dad asks. "Nope." Of all the things I've seen and done, I remember only one. This time it was just mum and me. It was winter, and there was snow on the ground. There was a small bakery right next to our hotel. I was hungry. Mum bought me a soft white roll. I was holding it, its warmth spreading across my skin. Steam was rising from it, releasing its aroma into the cold air. It smelled and tasted like no other bread I've had. It's like before then, I've never even had bread. And now, everytime I savoured the homely taste and texture, I remember. 0 2 . N O T E _ [click if you want to read] 0 3 . D E T A I L S _

what a cutie!
also, i think its better to travel myself when the person is older... young children dont seem to appreciate certain things like that, either coz they werent taught to, or jus didnt understand it.. i went to disneyland when i was 14 and i thought it was TOO CHILDISH Nope :P they don't. Travelling was kinda boring for me, actually. All my mum was into was shopping and sightseeing and all that kinda crap. Beauty for me, was in food and toys :[ that's pretty much it
