It seems that without even conscious intention, I made this for the song, tying in with the theme I love so well, yet have tried time and again to portray with less than favourable outcomes:

We weep for a bird's cry,
but not for a fish's blood.
Blessed are those with a voice.

Also interesting is that self portraiture was not envisaged for this either, however the reference photo that my husband took of me had a certain look that I couldn't ignore, and ultimately, and I say this with deep humility... it just felt right.


I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did during its creation. This is the first of what I hope to be a very expansive android series, some of which will be revisiting earlier pieces.
